When is Strade Bianche 2027? The pro race takes place on Saturday March 6, 2027. The Gran Fondo Strade Bianche (amatori) runs on Sunday March 7. Our package runs March 5–8, giving you one night to settle in before the action starts.
When is Strade Bianche Gran Fondo 2027? The Gran Fondo Strade Bianche 2027 takes place on Sunday March 7. You ride the same white roads as the pros — the day after watching them race.
Which airports should I fly into? Two options, both easy:
- Florence Airport (FLR) — closest, around 1h to Siena by train or bus
- Pisa Airport (PSA) — slightly further but well connected, around 1.5h to Siena
We recommend arriving into Florence for simplicity. Trains run directly and frequently.
Where is the accommodation? Your base is located in the Poggibonsi area, in the heart of Tuscany between Florence and Siena — right in Strade Bianche territory. Exact address is confirmed closer to the date. Want to know more about what to expect? Read our full accommodation standard page here
Can I extend my stay? Yes. If you want to arrive earlier or leave later, just let us know when booking. We’ll do our best to arrange extra nights at the same base. Extra nights are subject to availability.
Do I need to book my Gran Fondo entry separately? Yes. Gran Fondo Strade Bianche registration is not included in this package. We recommend registering as early as possible as spots sell out fast. We’ll send you the registration link after booking.
Is bike rental included? Bike rental is not included in the base package but is available as a premium add-on. A high-end road or gravel bike can be delivered directly to your base. Contact us to add this to your booking.
What level of cyclist is this for? The Gran Fondo Strade Bianche is a challenging ride — the white gravel roads and Tuscan hills make it tough regardless of distance chosen. That said, this package is open to all levels. You do not have to ride the Gran Fondo to join — some guests come purely to watch the pro race and enjoy a cycling weekend in Tuscany.
Is this a guided tour? No. This is a self-guided package. You get GPX routes, a digital guidebook, insider tips and 24/7 phone support — but you ride at your own pace, in your own time.
What is included in the start kit? Every rider receives a cap, route badge and printed route map on arrival — plus a welcome drink and local wine.
Is there a buddy discount? Yes. Book with a friend and you both get 5% off. Use code EARLYSTRADE before April 30th 2026 to also save €50 on the base price.
